Our Process
Regenerative cell therapies are much simpler and far less invasive than standard surgical procedures. Our comprehensive and individualized process begins with a thorough review and examination to ensure you are a good candidate for the stem cell therapy you desire.
We will take all the time that you need to answer all the questions that you may have and ensure your comfort both physically and mentally throughout the entire process.

1. REVIEW
Your physician will review any medical history provided with a specific focus on your illnesses and injuries, including any available imaging such as X-rays and MRIs. This will help them determine whether an adult stem cell procedure will provide benefit to you.

Anything that could affect or alter the success of the adult stem cell procedure will be evaluated by the surgeon before regenerative therapies are prescribed. Since every patient is different and every situation is vastly different, we provide no guarantees that the medical treatment will result in the same clinical outcome for all. Your individual circumstances and challenges will always affect the results, but we can always recommend the best possible approach.

2. CONSULTATION
If we feel that you are a good candidate for the stem cell or PRP procedure, then you will then meet with the nursing team and the physician together to review the procedure. We encourage you to ask as many questions as possible to best understand our approach and our reasoning.

Comprehensive Consultation : For musculosketelal procedures, you will receive a comprehensive consultation with our Board-Certified Physicians. who will evaluate your injury and treatment history. In the case of an injury for which you have had previous surgeries or treatments, we will explore, in-depth, the course of treatment and any applicable test results that may affect the outcome of therapy.
3. PREPARATION
Most patients choose to incorporate a pre-procedure nutritional plan that is based on their individual needs. Our cell therapy patients receive a complimentary consultation with our nutritionist to determine the most beneficial nutrition plan to follow before your procedure.
A tailored nutrition and supplement plan will support improved and sustained outcomes and will also aid in the healing process.
3. THE PROCEDURE
During your procedure, our physicians will deliver micro-injections to the area of focus using your own concentrated cells. Introducing these cells to the injured area helps magnify and accelerate your body’s natural healing process.
All Procedures are Performed Using YOUR OWN Stem Cells or Tissues
Stem cells derived from your own body are considered autologous stem cells. When autologous cells are used, there is essentially no chance of adverse reactions or rejection. Your body recognizes your own cells and is able to put them to use quickly, without stimulating an immune response.

Why We Use Bone Marrow for Stem Cells
Your bone marrow contains a high concentration of viable, live stem cells and the hip/pelvic bone is generally an easily accessible place to find them. Using stem cells rescued from your own bone marrow is the only FDA-compliant source for stem cell therapy injections. In addition, research demonstrates that bone marrow-derived stem cells deliver superior, predictable results. As our focus is on fast and effective healing, our approach utilizes bone marrow cells exclusively.

Injections
Once the bone marrow is extracted, the stem cells are processed using a data proven procedure that concentrates as much as 90% of the stem cells into a small but powerful, healing volume. They are then delivered directly to the area of inflammation so they can begin the task of healing you naturally, safely, and in most cases, quickly – and often permanently.

Board-Certified Physicians
Your treatments and procedures will be conducted by Board Certified Physicians who specialize in stem cell and biologic therapies and specially trained with decades of experience with interventional and minimally invasive procedures and who are committed to providing you with the best and safest possible options for healing and pain relief.

5. RESTING
Following your procedure, you will be given some time to rest in the office prior to going home. In most cases you will be able to return to work or your normal activities right away, though we always encourage you to listen to your body and not overdo it.

Our doctors will provide you with a personalized after-care program that is tailored to your specific needs and designed to support optimal recovery and long-term results. While most patients have few limitations following treatment, some conditions may benefit from brief restricted activity for best recovery.

Our team will outline a follow-up plan so that we can monitor your progress. Depending on your situation, this could be performed by phone, email or with a post-treatment, in-office appointment.
FDA APPROVAL
All of our biological procedures are performed with either Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or bone marrow derived stem cells (BMC) on the same day with minimal manipulation and homologous use of BMC. We strive to be compliant with the latest relevant FDA Guidance Documents at all times.
Regaining Function can be easy as 1, 2, 3...
All stem cell and PRP treatments are performed in the comfort of our office on an outpatient basis. Arrangements can be made at an ambulatory surgery center in rare instances. A typical adult stem cell procedure lasts about an hour and consists of the following three steps:

Using a syringe, the physician withdraws a small amount of bone marrow from an easy-to-access point on your hip or blood will be drawn via needle stick. The physician will use local anesthesia to numb the area and most patients report minimal discomfort.

Using a cutting-edge, FDA approved equipment, your adult stem cells are separated from the rest of the bone marrow material or nutrients extracted from blood and concentrated into a highly viable state. This is done directly following the extraction procedure and is performed in the treatment room while you wait.

Once the sample is ready, your physician will introduce the concentrated adult stem cells and growth factors directly to the part of the body that needs to heal. This injection is performed by your physician under sterile conditions.
